Self Expression

As I sit here this morning and think of about this Thanksgiving season… There are so many things that I feel thankful for.
I am most thankful that we live in such an accepting world. I am thankful for the people that have paved the way to fight for freedoms… All of them. I have been thinking about Steve lately and all that he stood for and all that he helped to become realities… He was such an inspiration in my life and the lives of others… He helped me to see the good, he helped me to push through, and helped me to love myself. I am actually overjoyed to think about all that he has done and how many people that he has helped…

I then continue to see him helping in my household even now… Because of him and people like him that fight for what is right our daughter gets to express herself completely. She gets to feel completely secure in her sexuality. She gets to experience complete love and support from our family without reservations. She also gets to grow up in a time where she can love who she wants openly. I can’t help but smile because i know that he will continue to pave the way for years to come. My heart is overjoyed because love really will conquer all.

I am thankful that we live in a time when people really can be who they want to be and do what they want to do.
